Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, you can find gift cards in the "Shop" section of our online store.

What is your shipping policy?

We strive for an outstanding customer experience and we know that shipping plays a role in that!  Orders generally ship in 3-5 business daysShipped orders will receive a tracking number and sent via USPS or UPS to addresses in the United States of America. If you live near Cedar Falls, IA and select Free Local Pickup, we'll contact you as soon as your order is ready for pickup and arrange a time that works for you when our studio is open.

Can I return or exchange an item?

We want you to love your purchase! If you want to return an item, we accept returns up to 10 days (in-studio/postmarked by) after the shipping date of your order in the form of store credit, issued via gift card. To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused and unaltered with the original packaging.  If 10 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer a refund or exchange.  Non-returnable items include gift card and any custom and personalized orders.

When returning your item, shipping costs are not refundable. You will cover the shipping costs associated with returning your item. Consider using a trackable shipping service or shipping insurance to ensure delivery to us.

Once we receive your returned item(s), you will receive a Promise Road gift card code via email, redeemable for one year.  Returns are issued as a store credit only, no refunds.

Exchanges (same item)

We will replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange for the same item, send us an email at shop@promiseroad.com and we will work with you to process the exchange.  Email requests must be received within 10 days of the shipping date of the original item.

For exchanges for new/different items, please follow the return process.

What If I want an item that is no longer in stock?
Due to the small batch artisan production of our items, they will often sell out. Some of our items will go on backorder and become available again at future date, while other products will not.  But rest assured, we always have new designs coming online that we think you will also love!

Ryan Hudson is owner and artist for Promise Road, located in picturesque Cedar Falls, Iowa. When not at his design studio he enjoys exploring national parks with his wife and two sons and playing folk rock and americana music.
